About Barbati
The village of Barbati is situated at the foot of Mount Pantokrator, Corfu’s highest mountain range, and above one of the most beautiful and picturesque beaches in Corfu.
The beautiful shingle beach and clear aqua sea earns Barbati every year the European quality Blue Flag award. Set on the beach amongst olive trees in a tranquil setting are a few tavernas, where parasols and beach beds are available for hire.
A variety of water sports and boat hire are also available. Barbati, one of the most picturesque villages on the island of Corfu, has panoramic views over the southern part of the island, Albania, the Greek mainland and faces the clear- crystal water of the Ionian sea.
Barbati beach, which has been awarded a blue flag by the E.E.C is only 150 metres away.
The apartment are in a small two storey block, recently refurbished to include air conditioning. All with their own private balcony, affording stunning views over Corfu Bay and at the rear of the apartments breath-taking views of the Pantokrator mountainside.
The apartments offer simple, clean and comfortable, traditional budget Greek rooms. They are ideal for people who prefer Corfiot accommodation rather than an hotel, and prefer to mix with locals and capture the real atmosphere of the island.
The apartments are set above the main street in Barbati, behind Tasos' Bar snuggled in the garden of olive, lime and lemon treesThe apartments give total flexibility, to have a quiet evening eating in, either cooking or getting a take away from one of the local Tavernas or eating out and only having a short walk back to the apartment.
Please note the apartments are not suitable for wheelchair access.
To prepare food you will find a fridge, a freezer, a kettle, a toaster. Also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils, hairdryer and iron. The location of the studio means you will hear some noise, though not excessive. On site the studio is right beside a beach, scuba diving & restaurants. Close to the studio you will find water skiing, boat/car hire, cycling, a food shop.
